BANYOLES

Banyoles means you are talking about the Lake of Banyoles. The town came into the picture when, during the 1992 Olympics, it hosted the rowing event on its beautiful waters.

The lake offers lots of opportunities. You can rent a boat, swim, there are child friendly restaurants with lovely terraces that look out over the lake and, last but not least, you can walk around it and enjoy the beautiful landscape. There is also a running trail.
