The Costa Brava has always been a beautiful, much loved and varied coastline, half an hour away from us. You can go there to laze about, be active, visit old coastal villages and eat delicious food.
Arts & Culture
This part of Spain is a melting pot of cultures. Greeks, Romans, Visigoths and Moors left their buildings everywhere. And in our time, the country gave birth to Gaudí, Picasso, Dalí, Miró and Pablo Casals. The area is truly a historic landscape and everywhere museums safeguard the memories of great times and artists. 2000 years of history go hand in hand with the best holiday feeling.
Sporty
This area is perfect for being active. There are plenty of walks, bike rides and horse trails. And of course, the coastline offers lots of opportunities for water sports. The golf aficionado is also well catered for.
Workshops & Retreats
Can Portell is the perfect location, should you want to organize or take part in a workshop or retreat. We have plenty of expertise with groups who spent a week with us, uninterrupted by other guests, concentrating on mindfulness, yoga, outdoor activities, spiritual trainings, but also theatre workshops, flamenco dancing and crochet classes. All you have to do here is focus on your workshop, we will do the rest.
